Thursday July 3	Pride Art Reception The San Luis Obispo Art Center, adjacent to the Mission, will show art work that is a reflection of the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender community's experience, sensibilities, and documentaion of living as a unique population in our society. This show runs from July 1 through July 8. Artists interested in showing their work please call Paul LaRiviere at 772-0652. Access: All Ages Location: SLO Art Center Time: 6 PM to 9 PM
	Glamour Boyz (Not Your Ordinary Drag Show) Access: 21 and Older Only Location: Downtown Brew 1119 Garden Street Time: 7 PM to 9:00 PM (doors open at 6:30) Tickets $20. 21+ Order tickets online, includes free Pride Dance access Pride Dance Access: 21 and Older Only Location: Downtown Brew, 1119 Garden Street Time: 9:00 PM to 1:30 AM Tickets are $10 at the door on a first come, first served basis. We recommed you get in early if you want in!	Downtown Brew Hosts the drag performance and pride dance.
Friday July 4	Beach Bash Beer and barbecue on the beach in a super gay-gantic compound near the Grand Avenue access ramp. The compound will be South of the ramp and impossible to miss...just look for the flags. You can either pay and drive onto the beach (4-wheel drive recommended) or park just before the gate house and walk to the compound. Click for a printable map to the compound. We recommend you pack in chairs, sunscreen, sun glasses, water or soda, any beach toys, towels, sweater or sweatshirt, and money in case you would like to donate towards the cost of the food and beer. Come for the sun, stay for the day, or just join us for dinner, beer and fireworks. Saturday July 5	Pride Week Headline Event Wanda Sykes Emmy Award winning comic Wanda Sykes joins us in celebration of Pride. Access: All Ages Location: Performing Arts Center, Cal Poly Time: 8 PM to 10 PM Order tickets through the PAC Online for this July 2008 event or call the Cal Poly ticket office at 756-2787. JUST ADDED! Join us starting at 5 PM at Monterey Street Wine Co. for wine tasting and appetizers. $12 tasting fee. Civil Status of Same-Sex Couples Presented by Toews Law Firm, Douglas J. Heumann, Esq., Marianne Tolchin, Esq., and Accountant Ed Shaw Access: All Ages Location: Community Room, San Luis Obispo City/County Library 995 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo, CA Time: 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM Admission is free (Sponsored by the SLO County Bar Assn. and funded by a grant from the Growing Together Initiative of the SLO County Community Foundation)	Corner View The after party kicks off at Corner View immediately following the show. Sunday July 6	Pride in the Plaza Click here for a calendar of entertainment for Sunday, including bios for each of the performers. In addition to great live entertainment, we will have an adult beverage garden, a diverse array of vendors including food, art, clothing and information. Come enjoy our Big and Little Kids areas featuring a climbing wall, mechanical bull, bounce house, clown, face painter, dunk tank, and an arts & crafts area Bring the family and plan to spend the day!
